Allison Cara Tolman has been an actress for over 20 years. The role she played as Molly Solverson, in season one of FX's Fargo TV show earned her nominations for Emmy and Golden Globe. Early life and education Tolman has two older brothers and a younger sister. Early in her life, her family relocated to England. They stayed there until she was four years old. She was in Oklahoma for five years and later in West Texas before moving to Sugar Land. When she was ten years old, she started acting at Fort Bend Community Theatre. Clements High School is where she attended and she graduated in 2000. Baylor University awarded her a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in theatre performance. Tolman's career began in 2014 when she starred as the lead character of FX's crime-drama series black comedy Fargo. Fargo is a remake of 1996 Coen brother's film of the same name. Starring veteran actors Bob Odenkirk, Martin Freeman as well as Billy Bob Thornton. Tolman has been praised for her performance as the character of Minnesota Police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair stated that Tolman has "calmly assuredly stolen the entire production". Tolman won the Critics' Choice Television Award for her performance in the category Best Supporting Actress in the category of Movies/Miniseries.
